Thanks Eric. I sure hope LuLa can find a home for genreless images. Come to think of it many of your images homeless too :-[

But you won't catch me crying over spilt milk.

I like this one, John. It would go nicely with some of my road tar images.   ;)

Let's hear it for more Genre-free images!

The ghost from the Dolomites :)

Brilliant! This is the stuff that nightmares are made of, and our life is rounded with little sleep.

(Shakespeare probably got lost in translation somewhere.)

Hans, I like them both. Nice to see you post some abstracts and architecture images. The first is a nice juxtaposition of elements. Re the second ghostly image, I have to admit I did not at first notice the face in the water(?) but saw an abstract of undulating colors. So when Oscar used the word nightmare, I revisited and wondered what I missed. She looks eerie but also benign and otherworldly. Nice. Ghostly is right imho.

If that were the only face, it would indeed be relatively benign...

Dante has been there, i'm sure.

I processed this image many ways. In the end I liked what came straight out of camera with a little brightness and contrast adjustment. What I like is that soft blur of the leaves matches the movement of the water.

A bit of fun with old christmas lights and cut crystal I call "Seasonal Chaos". I'm pretty sure they're not Hallmark-ready, but I had some fun. C&C welcomed.

Bob, I like the middle one best. The black makes the design come out better. I do think they are a little bit static because the overall shape is a hexagon which is positioned right in the middle. I have tried some of these myself and found using extension tubes allows you to explore even more interesting effects. If you are really keen on showing part of crystal, you may want to try selective focus stacking. That is keep only the areas you want sharp.

Nice Armand. You, me and few other have been staring at the paint dry again ;)

One from Glen Haffey, happily a little known place.
