+1.
Thank you John, Eric and Mike for the comments. Mike the image consists of grasses shot against pond water reflecting the blue sky. But you are quite right, in general, I try to avoid white unless I decide the white can be part of the image or has a pattern.

These are different. But I especially like second image with its almost mysterious shadows.

Part of Daily Walk in a new conservation area.

A change of environment every now and then can be healthy.

It looks fine to me. Here is one from nature, taken on my Daily Walk.

A standout, from among many good ones.

Sadly, work has kept me from doing as much photography as I like for much of this year, but I had an architecture assignment in Vancouver over the weekend and saw a couple of abstract opportunities on the flight home.  Because of the loss of sharpness from shooting through commercial airliner windows, I'm not sure any of these are suitable for printing/framing but I like the results enough to share online :)

I really like the first one. Love the movement of the river and the green colour. It looks much better in large version.

I know the feeling. I came across beautiful views from the airplane and got all excited when taking some photos only to be disappointed later when I pixel peep.
