That bird had been on the juice.
Well this was all in camera, but I have to fess up that it was an accident, where the camera missed the focus. But I liked it better than other frames that were in focus.

Me too; very nice. I'm always attracted to those kinds of tree swirls, but getting a good rectangular composition is usually a challenge.

Thanks. I have it in mind to get a (rumored) Fuji GFX-50r, adapt my Pentax 75/2.8 (great 645 format lens) to it and then take scads of photos either out of focus or at slooow shutter speeds. Besides hopefully resulting in some worthwhile pics it might also get under the skin of the res addicts. -Dave-
