I like how "so much is wrong" with this picture, yet it is so damn good!
I like how you threw out the composition rule of thirds (along with all the others)..... yet the composition is
so descriptive and evocative.
The lighting.... the shadow on the right side of the body hides the line of her waist thickening her body..... however
her form is still beautiful and the way the light goes into dark both in the foreground and background adds all sorts of things.
I don't find the hand to be disruptive... to the contrary... it ads an uncanny emotion.
I like the way the light is very caressing and soft on the body yet harsher and detailed on the hand.
What I like most about the image is a certain "untidiness" that makes it both more photographic than painterly, but also gives it a candid
glance feel...... Reminds me of a glance at the body of one's female partner as one wakes up...
It's interesting that you did this quite deliberately
and it looks in a certain sense like you accidentely fired your camera off
as you woke up with your lady on the other side of the bed. Love it.
