Center picture margins wih cut sheet ipf 8300?

Hi!

How do i get my picture centered when using cut sheets on the ipf 8300? Meaning as much space on top and bottom. No matter how i do there is more space to the side where the printer holds the cut sheet.

You can't. The printer specs state there's a bigger minimum margin on the trailing edge of cut sheet paper on the 8300. That's why I kept my 5100 instead of selling it when I got the 8300: it has 3mm margins all around.

I would suggest this can be done, but the caveat is that you need enough printable area in the right places to facilitate it. As neile notes, the bottom unprintable area (0.91") is larger than the unprintable area for the other three sides (0.20"). This means there is not enough printable area on an 8.5x11 sheet to even print an 8x10 image, much less print it centered. However, you should be able to print that same 8x10 image centered (for example) on an 11x14 sheet. That may not be practical, unless you like large margins. I generally position multiple images on a roll and later trim to size.

I just wanted to know how big the margin is where the printer holds it paper so i can calculate how big pics i can get on diffrent sizes of cut sheet.
