I am having the same problem with #33 & #37.

All the rest downloaded fine.

For #33 & #37 the download terminates prematurely and I get a corrupted file.

I normally use Foxfire, but tried with IE as well.  It is just these two.  I have tried 4 times with both browsers with the same results.  Any help would be appreciated.

I'm waiting until the rush has ended, maybe next week some time.
I know it will be worth the wait.

And let me add my thanks to Michael and Jeff and Chris for yet another wonderful, entertaining, and informative set of videos (judging from the ones I've viewed so far).

Great series. Only purchased a couple of weeks ago, but I'm working my way through them and picking up huge amounts of useful tips and information.

Haven't had any problems in downloading the full series. (Firefox on OSX Lion)

Many thanks to all involved.

Many, many thanks to Michael and Jeff for passing on their knowledge to the rest of us. Very educational and fun to watch. Also thanks to Chris and all the others behind the scenes for the their work on producing the video/audio that we get to see.

As mentioned about LR 4... If it dies not contain "Soft Proofing", then we will all to get our torches and pitchforks and march down to Photoshop.

I really can't say anything but...I think it will be safe to store your pitchforks for the winter...they make for lousy snow removal implements.

Likewise.
But I won't try downloading the LR4 tutorial until at least a week after it is available.

Thanks Michael, thanks Jeff.
For what is worth, even if English is not my primary language, nor have I ever practiced it so much, I found the lesson to be very clear and understandable.
You've done a great work.

PS: I think no one would ever doubt that not only LR4 will have soft proofing, but it will be as easy and polished as the printing module. No need to let Michael or Jeff spoil anything  ;D

This is my first post on LuLa, which I've been following for many years now. I would just like to thank Michal and Jeff for the wonderful tutorials. They gave me the confidence to finally give it a try and start my own business. I might be totally wrong, but I counted nine shirts (the one with the parrots was my personal favorite).

Bernie

Chris, I already sent Michael an email giving him my thanks for the videos, but you deserve commendation on your excellent work as an editor.  This series was first rate and an incredible value.  I produce videos for one of my relatives, and I understand entirely how much work goes into the finished product.  If you were the only videographer present it is amazing how much you were able to accomplish, the seamless transitions between multiple cameras, to the screencasts on the computer.

Again, my compliments and best regards.

I agree 1,000%!  Great job Chris.  Your part of the project is equally as important as the presenters and information.

Michael, Jeff, and Chris,

Thanks for the c2ps videos, i am immensely enjoying the contents. Must say i did not count the unique shirts of Jeff, too busy absorbing the content, but i do like your style Jeff ;-) . Chris, how do you do this video creation and editing? I find it quite amazing, the quality, the fluidness of imaging and transitions. Great job ;-)

I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this question...but here is goes anyway.

So, with the Beta version of LR4 upon us, and it's upcoming release...things are going to change (in terms of workflow etc.)
I think that it would be safe to assume that if Micheal & Jeff had shot this video in say, April or May of 2012, many things would be different, because of the added capabilities of LR4 (soft proofing, being a big one).

I know that they are going to be creating a new video for LR4, but is there any chance they will update the current C2P&S?

I know that it's all to common for all sorts of products to become obsolete soon after purchase...but I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels a bit put off, having recently purchased C2P&S, only to have (some of it) basically become obsolete so soon.
Don't get me wrong, I'm still very happy with having purchased it and I'll probably purchase others in the future.

I'm just wondering if there might be some concession for those of us who have purchased C2P&S.  Whether it be an update or a discount on the LR4 video etc.

Actually, soft proofing is the only difference...

Both Mike and I already advocate printing from Lightroom and the addition of LR4 only adds to that. The soft proofing section of C2PS does have the reliance of Photoshop–which in the future with LR4 won't be an issue but there are still many reasons for going into Photoshop.

As for whether or not there will be an update to C2PS for LR4's soft proofing, I don't know...that's above my pay grade. As to whether or not there will be a discount towards LR4 videos, same answer...

Look, we haven't even shot the darn thing yet...and LR4 is still beta. And in point of fact, nothing in C2PS is "obsolete"...the only thing different is the ability now to soft proof from LR4....which if you check the section I think I hinted at (something about heads rolling).

The Digitaldog has a nice video tutorial on soft-proofing in LR4 that gives the essentials, and the procedure should not be difficult, especially for those who have soft proofed in Photoshop.

Andrew did a good job but...I think he should have used the Before/After function to give an indicator on HOW to correct an image in soft proofing. The Before/After views are really important to give an indication of what changes need to be done for the image to print optimally.

Jeff- while you bring that up, please allow me a question. Is the use of the wording (in LR4 Beta) the same as soft proofing in CSx, i.e. Original/Copy. Before=Copy!

Thanks, Dave
