If it's too good to be true..yada..yada..One obvious error in the specs..the H3D II system can't shoot film.

I won mint Fuji GX 680 lenses and gear on eBay UK. Seller won't honor a single of his ended auctions. When the prices are too low, the deals are too good, don't waste your time.

Why don't you email Hasselblad and ask them? They should be able to tell you whether you are dealing with one of their dealers or not.

I had a quick look at their site and I can't see what the problem is?
.............was wondering if anyone had bought anything from these people...they have customer statements on their site etc.....Hasselblad will obviously NOT recognise them i would say and give you the official line of dealers etc.....but the world moves in many ways as we know.....interesting to check out for sure.....

I just joined and created a members account, I then added an item to my basket and couldn't find a shipping price to Australia.

Within a few moments the 'live chat box' popped up so I asked support the shipping estimate to OZ. The reply was there is a problem with the software being able to generate a shipping estimate currently but staff will be able to give a quote on Monday during working hours.

It looks OK but I'd rather wait till I know this site is legit or not

What do you mean Hasselblad will obviously NOT recognize them? This in itself would be really strange. How would they get their stock or how would they assist you when problems arise if they could not deal with Hasselblad.

Now, I know Hasselblad will certainly help you directly if you have Hasselblad equipment but for any party to be able to sell quantities at a regular pace you need a steady supply which is pretty hard if you cannot get the equipment officially. It makes it very unbelievable when the also offer equipment way below regular dealer prices which are already pretty low at this moment.

My take on this; I would certainly not put my trust in these people. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is. The fact that people immediately respond doesn't make it trustworthier. You would not believe to what lengths people go to rip others off.

Having people on the other side of the node, putting up 'customer' recommendations as well as a website (which BTW is not updated very often looking at the Jun/Jul/Aug 08 offers) are all things that are pretty easily done.

Bottom of their webpage clearly states that they are NOT an authorized dealer for many of the brands represented, including Hasselblad.

I can't imagine anyone in their right mind sending eleven thousand dollars to ANYONE in Indonesia. Just google "ebay and indonesia" and that's all the evidence you need.

Like gwhitf said, indonesia is pretty infamous for all sorts of fraud and scams, so at least be very careful dealing with them.

Run... run away, very quickly, don't even turn around.

Send your $3300 over there and the only thing you'll receive is the philosophical realization that a fool and his money are soon parting.

If I can make a suggestion: don't buy from them. Indonesia is famous for such frauds and are very well organized to lure you into believing that what you see is true.

In answer to the original question...

No!

Our partner which Paul mentions above has no knowledge of the dealer existing in Indonesia.

Best,

David

Lebanon, Slovenia and Croatia worked though, just random examples, so why blank on Indonesia ?
This comes back blank as well http://www.hasselbladusa.com/about-hasselb.../indonesia.aspx and is the page I get if I click your link.
Just curious and thanks for the reply.

BTW manually entering Hasselbald.com  brings up my uk site, obviously does a domain search.
