These three images are brilliant (above all the third one). We all love the look of "imperfect" images today... but it has nothing to do with perfect technique... it's all about the moment and the expression. Really like them a lot - thanks for sharing!

Thanks Tho_mas. I can't tell you how many times I have heard from clients, art directors and other industry types who look at my site and say "I love the polaroids" even though my site is 95% digital. It really puts all the bickering about pixels, DR, "why's this new camera not got a better bla bla bla" - into perspective.
Anyway, it's really fun to shoot polaroids, and the models love it.

I think it has to do with a sphere in images I would call somehow the absence of meaning. When all questions are answered... the image is totally uninteressting. If there are only questions... the image is "bad" or "high-flown". It's always a question of the "right" mixture or maybe the balance. In #3 the dark parts may eliminate the face and the textures... but at the same time this gives me the chance to imagine a (short) "story". Well... every mystery story gets its suspense from what is not shown or illustrated... you know what I mean.
... hard to explain as I am obviously no native speaker :-)

Very nice..How well does Helicon Focus handle motion..ie. light wind and trees or grass.  I downloaded the trial and have done some indoor stills....but the heat index has been >100 degrees so I haven't done any landscapes.
