I am considering the Wimberley Tripod Head II for use with Canon EF 400mm f/2.8 L IS USM. The Canon 400 weighs about 12 pounds. From the photo, it appears the Wimberley has pan and pitch axis, but no roll axis (tilt left/right).
Is this true? That means must use the lens collar to roll, or the tripod must be ‘near level’ with the horizon.
Anyone find this to be a problem?
