Canon drivers and macOS27 Golden Gate
« on: September 14, 2026, 09:18:20 am »

I understand the usual caveats to avoid new X.0 releases, but is there any knowledge on Apple changing the colour pipeline for print outputting Golden Gate? Also any takes on Canon's release of updated drivers for imagePROGRAF's (if necessary which they usually are).

Most of us wait to update Mac OS's until at least the 0.3 version. Let others be the guinea pigs.

I've been using Mac's since 1984, yes 1984 and it's been a rare update that made my life better.

I do the security updates though I've not had virus issues.

No Canon specific knowledge as I'm an Epson printer person but all printers are challenging on a good day.
