In the first half of December last year, I took off North with only a vague idea of where I intended to go. I ended up home after two weeks and about 3,500 miles under my belt, 1,000 more than I'd intended. On a loop including Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Utah, and back through Nevada to Arizona, I encountered long days and a BUNCH of snow! Because of the poor weather, I found myself wanting to make every shot count.
I wrote about the journey on my website
here, but you can find the entire collection of images
here if you want to skip the narrative
. I hope you will enjoy at least one or the other.
