First Attempt
« on: September 15, 2021, 04:11:26 pm »

I've been scanning old prints and today I came across what arguably was my first attempt at street photography.

I was a teenager, and hadn't the foggiest idea of what constituted the genre, and I certainly wasn't familiar with the term "street photography."  But usually I was obsessed with sharpness and other technical attributes so I must have had something in mind when I blurred the running figure:

Nor can I recall after so many years, but I had already discovered the work of Henri Cartier-Bresson and I suspect I may have been influenced by this.

I can see Henriā€™s just fine via the link. Nothing but blank after Chris introduces his image. A couple blank lines, then the text leading to MOMA.

Chris,

When i load the flicker url above, i get a 410 file not found.
Doesn't matter which machine or browser. So unless Texas is blocking flickr......

What i am finding is that Opera is downloading the file. If i go to Chris's flickr photostream it is there.
i agree, definitely inspired by...
