Hello all. I have a new Windows 10 computer. I'm using an Epson SC P800. When I try to print, I can only access Epson icc profiles. I have installed the hahnemule and innova profiles I want to use and they are in the same system 32 folder as the Epson icc profiles but Lightroom and Classic and Photoshop will only show me Epson profiles. I have reinstalled the printer without success. I have used Epson printers for 20 years so I'm not a newbie but this has me scratching my head. I have written Epson support but haven't heard back. Can anyone shed some light?

Got a response from Epson which shows you the dismal state of their support. They sent me links to five articles that have nothing to do with my question and then asked me to complete a survey about how great their service is.

Do a search to confirm/get details, but I believe that you need to install the profiles and reboot for them to be shown. If my memory is correct you right click on the profile file and select install, but you should do a search on this.

I have them installed properly according to Epson's directions. I have searched this but I can't find an answer. I guess I will have to call Epson support tomorrow. I have a ton of printing backlogged. It's so frustrating.

Like I said I have used Epson printers for 20 years and I have had multiple new computers during that time. This is the first time I've had this issue. It may be something simple, I hope so.

Profile shows up for me (Mac OS), no problem. Gotta be something on your end.
You did a "Right Click" on it, selected "Install Profile"?

Yes. And it shows it's installed in the correct folder. I have never had this issue before.

Its not the profile as far as I can see on this end. Some Win issue? Don't know.

I told Epson I would talk to Adobe tomorrow but I have a feeling it's in the driver with the latest Windows or something. Thanks for your help, Andrew. I'll report back when I get it resolved.

Got nothing to do with the print driver. The profile should show up in Photoshop and it does here. I see it in “Convert to Profile” and can convert.

I know you've done this plenty of times Sharon, but have you 3x checked the profiles are in the color sub dir and were not dropped into drivers for example? It's happened to me with a twitchy mouse finger.

Do you have another way to print outside of Adobe? Qimage for example?

In Lightroom Classic, select soft proofing, click on the list of profiles. Then select Other, a window should open and list all the profiles available. Make sure that the profiles you want to use are checked otherwise they will not appear in the popup window.

If the ICC profiles don’t show up in Photoshops “Convert to profile” they’re not gonna show up in Lightroom.
