“I’ll pardon everyone who has come within 200 feet of the Oval,” Trump said in a recent meeting to laughs, according to people with knowledge of the comments. That radius appears to be expanding as the president repeats the line. Another person who met with Trump earlier this year said the president quipped about pardoning anyone who had come within 10 feet. ”

Excerpt From
“Trump Promises Mass Pardons to Staff Before Leaving Office”
Josh Dawsey
The Wall Street Journal

The sycophant might comment; “So?” 🤮

I wonder what the cult thinks about the many Jan 6th pardon recipients who have gone on to commit further crimes, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OYK5G2ajpPE.

Bingo:

The cartoon asks the exact same question I have been asking myself the past few weeks.  I was born in America, was an American citizen until 2018.  I became a German citizen then because I had lived in Germany since 2010 and knew that Germany is my home and I should vote in the place I live.  So now, I am on the outside of America looking in and can only think "WTF?!?!?".  I honestly do not see a big difference between Iran's government now and the type of government that Trump supporters seem to want in America.  Many in America, and many Trump supporters, as well as many Republicans in general think that America should be a Christian country.  These same people think that the Holy Bible should dictate many laws in America as well as be looked to when deciding the rights of people.

Since I am originally from Mississippi, I think of the Trump Republican Party as "Ya'll Qaeda".  They are basically just as extreme as Al-Qaeda and many of the most offensive are from the Southeast....therefore the "Ya'll" fits.

Trump's man Orban in Hungary seems to have lost his job., despite the best efforts of the Trump/Rubio/Vance trio. Thing is, Orban was Putin's boy and maybe Hungarians didn't think it was such a good idea to cozy up to the Russian. Getting Trump's endorsement might have killed Orban's chances.

This should help his poll numbers:

Trump slams Pope Leo as ‘weak’ and posts picture of himself as Jesus healing the sick
President claims ‘if I wasn’t in the White House, Leo wouldn’t be in the Vatican’ in Truth Social tirade

I'm surprised he hasn't declared that the Hungarian election was rigged. Maybe he's busy healing the sick.

On the other hand, Victor’s sending off might provide Putin with a clear need to use an armed intervention to protect himself from an expanding Western influence in the region. Ukraine redux. We have long passed the point where logic and truth mean anything at all; both the supreme leaders of Eastern and Western power blocs have divorced themselves from any need for public believability because it became clear that their respective fan bases no longer bothered about such minor technicalities either: too dumb to care or to think. One might as well stop reading the newspapers and/or watching the box: even if snippets of truth accidentally slip through, one’s ability to intervene is almost zero.

In some countries, Roman Catholic and Protestant religions find it practically impossible to avoid hostility. How (or if) such things work/exist in the US is something I don't know much about. If tension are already there, slurs against the Pope can only aggravate an unfortunate situation, just what everybody needed today. Which, as two big group fight one anther, leaves the Israeli contingent in what might be an even more influential rôle in US politics than the one it already enjoys. Peace, baby, peace: the same God, but problematic fan bases. It seems impossible that one, shared deity can be used and misrepresented to such devastating degrees. We, the people…

The end of the article was great:

The Gospel of Mark records Jesus healing the sick, feeding the hungry and casting out demons. Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill Act, signed into law in 2025, will cut federal Medicaid spending by about $900bn over a decade with children’s hospitals warning the cuts will directly harm their most vulnerable patients.

One user on X, Mandy Arthur, captured the mood: “God, we might have made a mistake and accidentally elected the Antichrist. Send help.”

There’s a problem, though: deride as much as we like - and do - Mr T manages to do what many of us wish to, but don’t dare do. Difficult, that one. We have become embarrassingly emasculated.

Regarding our regional defence capabilities, we European are exactly as he claims that we are: we sit back (at least, we once did) expecting big daddy USA to take care of our problems. It never was healthy, and this current crisis and the way it revealed how few our available vessels, shows just how depleted a once Royal Navy has become, when our minuscule armada lies mostly in the repair yards or in the imagination. Wake up call.

Stable genius?

To generate the images that Trump has been posting implies the use of AI. Do we know for a fact that he knows how to do that? Or does he have people on the payroll who stay up all night to produce this crap. One big criminal bullshit factory.

I see that he and JD are maintaining their swipes at the pope, producing a lot of backlash. The pope cannot harm him, anymore than Cuba can, and the backlash against his outrageous posts can't harm him either, it's all a big show. But nobody has been talking about Epstein, have they. Except for the new acting DOJ boss, who said there is nothing more to see there. Bondi didn't even bother showing up to the hearing she was subpoenaed for on the matter. Congress may hit her with a contempt charge but she doesn't care about that either. She knows Trump will pardon her and if he stops breathing, then Vance will.

I saw a clip in which Trump mocked the notion that he can't call the Iran war a "war" because he would need permission to declare war. He was laughing at the country.

They openly mock the laws of the US, but it's normalized, don't even hear that much outrage anymore. Leader of the free world to third world shit hole in about 18 months. Doesn't take long, does it.

I heard that he wants to engage in piracy by extracting tolls from ships passing through the strait. Maybe he can use one of this battleships to enforce the tolls.

I can foresee a small list of several versions of God noting down scores to settle.

Hormuz delays will have nothing on the Pearly Gates, and many discarded needles will litter the floor along with impatient camel dung.

This is how I picture god. He's in a bar with his buddies, trying to chill. The giant screen TV is showing FOX, out-takes from US on-air cabinet meetings, clips from Congressional hearings where people are saying just the most stupid things. God is begging the bartender to change the channel over to a soccer game or something but his buddies vote him down, they're laughing too hard. When the Trumpistan clowns on the screen claim that god is on their side, the hoots in the bar get louder and louder. God orders a double, going to be a long evening.

I saw this online report about how staffers try to keep Trump out of the situation room because of his highly erratic behaviour, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=noMerkjiwbo. The report also states that some military generals are openly voicing their concern over Trump's mental competence, which is a day late and a dollar short, maybe, but it's not the military's job to provide checks and balances.

To date 30+ Republicans have chosen not to run again for their Congressional seats. The new political normal is that MTG sometimes sounds sane.

But hey, woke is dead so it's all worth it. Instead we have morons in cabinet who think they're in a holy war. And ICE continues to arrest and detain US citizens, seems like we get a fresh story every day about that.

Some people are still clinging to the hope that the vast wealth that AI will unleash any minute now will wipe out that mountain of public debt. Precisely how it is going to do that has never really been explained. Meanwhile, France is calling X out for facilitating child porn on their site and Trump's reaction is to accuse France of attacking American companies. I wonder if Trump can even still spell "X".
