Looks like Trump's Warp Speed is working as America nears the top will soon be first in total injections and per 100 population.  Of course, the press and democrats complained he would not even get the vaccine out before the end of 2020.

I guess all the governors deserve a big round of applause.

Would you want to be injected with the Chinese version or someone else's?  Would you want to buy the Chinese version of a Nikon or Japanese?

Alan, I bet half the stuff in your house was made in China.

America is not a parliamentary system.  Our electoral system that requires a majority to win power during the election forced a two-party country.  So each party drags in the dregs from the margins and have to put up with the crazies.

...who, if he's on our side, we then elect as president... ;D

Including his new Chinese Chamonix 4x5 camera.

The full-length audio of the Trump phone call to the Georgia Secretary of State is available from the Washington Post and now YouTube.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/video/audio-trumps-full-jan-2-call-with-ga-secretary-of-state/2021/01/03/video.html

https://www.youtube.com/Trump’s full phone call with Georgia election officials

The transcript of the call is available here...

https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search:https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/trump-raffensperger-call-transcript-georgia-vote/2021/01/03/

Any President before Trump would have big trouble with a phone call like that to a level of being impeached;
but after 4 years of lowering the bar during Trump precedency this is just another 'thing' lowering the bar even further.
Next 'thing' will be the republican senators making objections against the election result, while totally ignoring this proven criminal action by Trump.
(Trump wanted 12000 votes to be 'found'; also confirming he would believe in a victory by 1 vote, but not by being defeated by 11.000 votes.)

Probably a naive question, but why didn't Raffensperger just put the phone down, like you would with any deranged telemarketer?

This is probably a naive answer, but it's possible that he wanted to hang Trump. The phone call recording didn't leak itself.

Raffensperger did say: "The truth will come out." I mean he warned Trump, but Trump just plunged ahead. What an idiot.

There are a couple stories in WAPO that say that Trump broke quite explicit federal and Georgia laws with that phone call. Trump can't be removed from office by a court, only by impeachment and conviction, but that doesn't mean that he can't be convicted of a crime committed while in office, after he's out. And since the criminal act(s) comes only two weeks before he's gone, the statute of limitations won't apply. I really think Biden needs to appoint a special counsel to look into this. Isn't Hillary still a lawyer?

Here's a good idea: as a new member of the House of Representatives, carry a gun with you to the Capitol. I wonder who she is planning to shoot?

Since she didn't say pistol but instead mentioned the brand name, I have to cynically wonder if that wasn't just part of some marketing campaign. Nobody does product placement on TV shows and in movies like the gun manufacturers.

Nah, I am not interested in a Chinese vaccine nor a camera. But I bought several lens caps for my Nikon lenses from China. I paid a full dollar for a perfectly functioning 52mm lens cap, incl. shipping. B&H sells the same lens cap for $4.49, but that doesn't include shipping. And if you want Nikon name on the lens cap, B&H charges $12.95. For that money I'd rather have 12 chinese lens caps, and 95 cents in my savings account.

I wonder if the new Tesla cars made in China will be as good as the ones made in Fremont, CA. Actually, the Fremont cars were reported to show occasionally minor manufacturing defects. Maybe the latest Tesla plant in Austin will make better cars.

Of course she said Glock. It's part of the allure. I have a serious gun. I have a Glock. It's made in Austria. It's not a knock off. It is a Glock. She probably wears a Rolex and carries a Louis Vuitton handbag. Maybe she has the matching Louis Vuitton holster. The one with the red stitching. If you are going to protect your family, you need to do it in style. Everyone will be jealous when your kid says: "My mom has a Glock and a Louis Vuitton holster. With the red stitching." "Awesome. My dad has an AR15 and camo." "Don't you have a brother?" "I use to, but he accidentally shot himself with my mom's Glock." "Too bad." "Yeah." "Do you know what I want?" "What?" "A rocket launcher with a Louis Vuitton carrying case." "Cool." "Yeah."

He'll look great in orange jumpsuit & shackles. I just hope his co-conspirators face trial too.

Probably.  My new 4x5 is Chinese.  But my Nikormat and Mamiya RB67 were made in Japan.

WAPO said he conspired with the Russians too.

They didn't, but you will continue to believe that they did—and post the same myths repeatedly.
