I read the article, and researched the media it appears in and the author who wrote it, and don't think any of it is very credible, certainly nothing rising to the level of proof of voter fraud.
Who wrote it:
Michael Patrick Leahy is the CEO and Editor-in-chief of Star News Digital Media, which owns and operates a family of state focused conservative news sites, including The Tennessee Star, The Ohio Star, The Michigan Star and The Minnesota Sun, and the host of The Tennessee Star Report, broadcast weekday mornings from 5 am to 8 am on 98.3 FM and 1510 WLAC in Nashville.OK, conservative news sites, they are allowed (like Fox).
But the very first sentence rings alarm bells in my head:
More than 1,700 Georgians were singled out for illegally casting two ballots in 2020 elections – including last month’s hotly contested presidential race -but their fraudulent votes weren’t canceled out, according to state election officials. Including last month's, how many? No such data.
According to which which election officials? No such data (you'll recall, many pages back, when another news source stated they had reported sources about Trump's pardoning his lawyer, the same guy posting the URL above dismissed it).
"The majority of double voters were Democrats who cast an absentee ballot either by mail or drop box and also voted in person on Election Day, officials said, which is a felony under state law".How many were Democrats and there were Republicans? The horror. How many? No data.
"The highest share of offenders were from Fulton County, which includes Atlanta – many of whom were allowed to cast a second ballot by poll workers, officials said".Allowed to, and what share, what officials? No data.
"Though the number of suspected double-voting felons is the largest in state history, RealClearInvestigations has learned that no cases have been referred to the state attorney general for criminal investigation.
“This office does not have any referrals on double voting cases so far from the State Election Board related to the June 2020 primary or November 2020 general [election],” said Katie Byrd, spokesperson for Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr, a Republican"Ah, the deep state again: Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr, a Republican!
“After the primary elections, Raffensperger announced that his office identified 1,000 people who voted twice in the primary".So 700 on November 3rd? No data.
No reason to go further.
And Craig asks if we read it. Read, reviewed, suspicious of the piece. Craig eats it up, hook, line and sinker.
