Did you check to see if Trump gets a percentage? :)

Most likely. But what I would like to see is Trump on skates.

But Mexico paid for their troops and Trump got the job done.

So Mexico paid for their own troops on their own side of the border. Yet another "Art of the Deal" success story.

I feel the Trump following is cult-like, people can’t believe the truth even in front of their eyes.

South Dakota nurse says many dying patients still insist COVID-19 'not real'

This from a network that recently compared Trump's refusal to concede to Kristallnacht.

How anyone can take this network seriously anymore is the real cult like action.

I am pretty sure he does. I think he's got the agreement to operate the rinks.

Of course The Hill didn't recently compare Trump's refusal to concede to the Kristallnacht. They just reported a story in which Christine Amanpour apologized for making that comparison on CNN. But let's not let facts get in the way of a good story.

He did it prematurely in the Kurdish part of Syria and let Erdogan to move in.
You don't have a dog in the fight and shouldn't butt in. We went through this when it happened.  Turkey is a NATO member and ally of the US for decades.  We have Incirlik Air Base there which used to run spy missions over China and the Soviet Union.  We never promised the Kurds we'd go to war with Turkey so Kurds can have a homeland.  Americans are tired dying for others.  If you want to send Canadians to fight for them, you're welcome to do so.  Do you think Biden is going to change America's policy regarding this and send another son or a grandson to fight and die in the Middle East like Beau Biden?

Separately, why do non-Americans always want us to sacrifice our people to solve the problems of the world?  Then when we butt in, you complain that we butted in and shouldn't push our weight around?   Make up your mind.

And of course his friend Putin.
See my last post.  The British can join the Canadians and fight Turkey for a Kurdish homeland.  Maybe you'll send your son.

It is hardly butting in to criticize other counties. You do it all the time.

I have the advantage of having actually visited Vietnam so i can judge for myself whether it corresponds to any sensible definition of "communism".
It's a one-party state.  That's all you have to know.

Which network are you talking about ?

He was referring to The Hill, the media company that posted the article about the South Dakota nurse you linked to, and which he quoted in his reply.

I think you need to get yourself a different history book, Alan, yours seems to have quite a few missing pages.

CNN.

From the Independent.

CNN’s Christiane Amanpour compares Trumpism to Nazi pogrom

So what does that have to do with (Edit) armand's post?

CNN is the network that did the interview.  The Hill just reposted it.

It is shit like this that forces me to not take CNN seriously anymore.  The constant comparing Trump to Hitler just destroys that Network's credibility.

So what does that have to do with Frank's post?

It was Armand post originally.

Just pointing out that a network that makes Hitler comparisons, repeatably, no longer deserves to be taken seriously.

They have now become propaganda and deserve no journalistic respect anymore.

Constant? Is it CNN really constantly comparing Trump to Hitler? I wouldn't know; I rarely watch CNN. I am surprised you do.

Moved it up from January 20, 2021 to November 20, 2020? So he was originally planning on pulling them out on his last day in office?

As I mentioned, all his advisors think it is a bad move.

And what happened to his "peace" agreement with the Taliban earlier this year? You know the one that he was going to have the Taliban come over to Camp David to sign. It's pretty much down the toilet.
No, he was intending to win re-election so he would have more time to negotiate.  He shouldn't rush it.  As much as I want American troops out of there, let's not do what Obama did in 2011 by pulling troops out prematurely and creating another ISIS.  On the other hand, we could stay there forever and nothing is going to change.  So at some point, we should just warn the Taliban that if they allow their country to be used as a terrorist base again, we'll be back.  Then we should leave.

It's going to be interesting to see what Biden does.  I don't recall much discussion on this before the election, unfortunately.  Instead of discussing real policy, it was all about "dump Trump" all the time.  What should Biden do?

But he was quoting an article in The Hill and you started going on about CNN.  Getting confusing about what you respect and what you don't. I'd be concerned, if I gave a damn.

It is constant.  Just last week a reporter on CNN implied that Trump is actually worse then Hitler, since, in her word, Hitler actually took care of his citizens.

Like I said, CNN no longer means anything anymore.
