Not. A. Hoax.

https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/senate-panel-finds-russia-interfered-in-the-2016-us-election

You proved my point.  You're the conspiracist. There was a two-year, $30 million investigation when Mueller concluded that not only did Trump not collude with the Russians, but he could find no other American in the whole country who colluded with them.

Here's a conspiracy you missed.  Hillary Clinton hired for $10 million, Russian and British spies to prepare a phony dossier on Trump during the election to smear him so he would lose the election.  When he won anyway, the Democrats continued to use that phony dossier using the FBI to lie to the FISA court so they could continue to go after Trump including illegally spying on him.  The Democratic Obama administration was aware of all these shenanigans.  This set up the whole Mueller investigation to damage Trump and Republicans.

Then they went after him with another conspiracy theory regarding emoluments using the silly charge that he was illegally enriching himself  as president from the profits his hotels made from foreignors from their room charges.    The Supreme Court dismissed that.  There were more but who could remember all the conspiracies Democrats came up with.  Then two impeachments that ended in no guilt.  Oh then there are state tax issues like real estate evaluations, etc. still in the hopper.    It's still going on four years later.

Can't we move on?

Why do you refuse to understand these very simple things?

1) It is not a court, it is a hearing.
2) No one needs defending because no one is on trial.
3) Trump's allies would want to appear in order to get the truth out there. If, indeed, they want the truth out there.

And just as an aside, THEY ARE NOT SENATORS.
The committee is referring people over to the Attorney General for prosecution.  Why would anyone want to involve themselves in that by volunteering to be there and be questioned by biased-minded political stooges who already made up their minds that you are guilty?  Any lawyer who would adivse their client to appear voluntarily should be barred from practicing law.

If she testifies, they better fumigate the chamber afterwords.

This is why people don't want to appear.  You already made up your mind about her guilt.  You want to drag her through the mud. Your fairness and the fairness of the committee to listen to the testimony first, does not exist.

And here's her chance to set the record straight.

A few well-connected media and politicians pushed him through.  Democrats had little choice.

Uh, perhaps my understanding of the American political system is lacking, but wasn't Biden chosen as presidential candidate by Democrats in a series of "Primaries"

She's hip deep in the mud already.

She's on the record as agreeing and colluding with the "stop the steal" movement.

Indeed. He wasn't my first choice at the time but I thought he had the best chance of beating Trump.

Thing is, the only outcome that you would consider fair and equitable is if "your guy" comes off scot free, so basically you've made up your mind before any evidence is uncovered because your default position is that any evidence that is produced is fake. You're a gold-plated member of Trumpistan then.  By your illogic, the police/prosecutors should NEVER interview anyone that they have suspicions about.

But it's all silly. After all the info that's come out, for you to continue to spin that they did nothing wrong borders on mental illness. Basically, every one of your opinions about everything  are based on partisan politics. That's one hell of an admission you're making about your country's politics, btw. You're saying there's nothing fair going on, it's always political. You have a low opinion of your own country.

Well he beat Trump.  But now the country and the democrats are stuck with an ineffective senile old man before an election in November whose popularity is down to around 33%.

Precisely.  His world is entirely devoted to partisan politics and apparently believes that's true for everyone else.

Well boys, I hate to break the bad news, but judging by the last 100 or so posts, it seems that Alan Klein’s ‘ignore list’ ain’t working so well …

Since I posted this, there have been 14 posts - 6 of which are Alan Klein’s - just over 40% , which I’m guestimating is close to the same percentage over the preceding  760 odd pages.

Look at his stats and you’ll get the picture. He’ll swing out of bed in the morning and unleash his first salvo. Come 7:00PM he’s attached unrelentingly to the keyboard until the early hours of the morning, emulating his hero’s playbook, indiscriminately replying to all and anything, trolling in search of a ‘bite’.

I know his wife Janet, despatched him back to this forum when he once ‘quit’ (as he phrased it,
when queried at the time “it didn’t go so well”).

Alan, leave Janet in peace but do try to get a life away from a solitary Lula existence. We’ll all be better off for it - as will you.

Someone please start a Bear Pit II, where there would at least be some form of moderation if only by the OP, to suspend the thread if any single poster started to drown everyone else out.

A 40% posting rate turns this from a forum into a ‘chat room’.

Clearly, he's found the formula to get the attention for which he's desperate. Just ignore what others write and keep repeating the same bullshit over and over endlessly and he knows that somebody will respond to him.

It's so fast and easy for him to do as he is completely disinterested in the accuracy of his assertions. He just keeps spitting out whatever record is playing on repeat in his head at the time. It's like a combination of an ideologically faithful dog that obediently stands by his master and a parrot.

Josh isn't moderating this thread.  Why would he moderate any other? If he deleted all posts that have personal attacks, it would move my posting rate from 40% to 80%.

At least he and his voters are sensible enough not to attack the roots of US democracy...
to support that you have to be really mental...

an infirm old man

biased-minded political stooges

an ineffective senile old man

gutless...cowards they are

Gutless cowards are the type that throw out insults when they know their target can't answer back... and never look in a mirror at their own reflection.

it's your side that continually resorts to personal insults

You mean like Democrats came up with a phony dossier?  Then they used an out-of-control FBI run by President Obama and his administration to illegally undermine first a presidential candidate and then the president himself and the Office of the President?
