The only point I was making is that American democracy and Western civilization will not collapse because Trump's still fighting anymore than it collapsed in 2000 when the entire judicial system of the USA was involved and the angst on both sides was at a fever.

...There is much more to all of this, but that's more than enough for now. Sorry about all of the bold type, underlining, and all caps. It's somewhat complicated stuff with all of the intersections of Federal and State Constitutions, laws, duties, and obligations. So, it's not easy to communicate without adding a lot of emphasis here and there.

If anyone should reply to this very long post, please don't quote the entire thing. Quote the relevant part or a portion of it. It clutters up the board when entire long posts are quoted.

In any case, when someone gives their opinion, it isn't necessary they provide facts.  After all, it's their opinion.  If you have a different one, just state it.  Let's not get clinical.

Better how? If you're specific, yes, facts and proof can be provided. Better in image quality, wider DR, less non image forming gunk (not a technical term but hopefully you get the idea between grain and noise)? Easy; I did so over 20 years ago. At least if you use your eyes.

But it was Hillary who  complained for four years that she was "robbed".  She never admitted that her campaign style, personality, and harsh comments about deplorables and carbon energy lost it for her.  I don't think that American democracy was weakened although she lost respect from many Democrats because of her complaints and lack of self-reflection.  Well, the same thing will happen with republicans and Trump if he continues to act like a poor loser.  But American democracy won't suffer; only he will.

As best as I can tell from my recent exchange, all of his posts merely express his opinions, and none of them are founded on any facts. Or at least he doesn't want anyone to ask him on what facts he has founded his opinions. Apparently doing so is impolite and acting in bad faith. When I was a kid, we'd play this little game where you'd grab your friend from behind in a head lock and squeeze until he said "uncle".  Then you'd let him go.  It was an ego trip on both sides because your friend would refuse to say "uncle" out of pride and the headlocker would continue to squeeze and hurt him until he said it.

That's an excellent description of Trump's method of governing... and for living his life since childhood. It's also quite similar to his advice on how celebrities can seduce women.

Saying you "wuz robbed" is an expression.  I'm sure you remember how Hillary complained that she lost because of Comey's reports that he should not have released about her emails and servers right before the election.   She called Trump an "illegitimate president" as late as Oct, 2019.  Hillary and Trump are very similar. He won't accept the loss either and will complain that he "wuz robbed" too.
