I'm not referring to COLA's due to inflation.  I'm referring to changing basic credentials and rules when you can start SS.  Let's say you planned on starting SS at age 66 the current "normal" age.  Well, Congress will probably  raise that age  because they're running out of money and will want people to start SS when they're older.  The government will save money.  So locking yourself in and starting SS before they change the law may be a smart thing to do.  But of course, you knew that.  You know everything. Well, maybe others didn't.
