Quick fix actually. I used the Metabones Lens Adapter for Nikon F-Mount, G-Type Lens to FUJIFILM G-Mount GFX Camera, which does not support the E-type Nikkor lens. So I had to fix the aperture at f/8 by attaching to my D850 with the cap on, in aperture priority set to f/8 depressed the shutter and removed the lens before the shutter closed. This could have been any f-stop.

OK, thanks,

so no shift movements available.. I calculated that the movements possible are not very large anyway;
diagonal = 55mm and usuable lens circle is 60mm
55mm means already 110º diagonal ( max = 115º)
btw  you can also press the button to close the aperture while detaching the lens...

(does the metabones adapter changes the focal length of the lens- that would not be desired.)

shift movements are available but not quite the full amount.  the adapter doesn't change the lens focal length

Aha, i made a few mistakes :)

I looked at the wrong adapter and forgot you can shift with the PCE...
Also the lens circle is about 65mm...
