Here's one from earlier this Spring in the interior of BC. These guys had been on my target list for a while now so it was a real thrill to finally get my lens on one.

sweet shot... and very nice collection in your link!.. congrats, these owls are not easy to find especially at night!

These pictures are very beautiful.
I thought owls were one species. But seeing these photos, I realized that there are several species of owls.

I had to look up "flammulated" - it means having flame-shaped markings. Which I don't really see on this owl, to be honest.
