So tell us, who do you count Deaths,or better yet, how do OTHER countries count covid deaths comnpare to the USA?. Apples to orages comparisons are utterly useless unless you have an agenda to push.

Yeah, I think someone in this thread pointed out that during the height of the outbreak in NYC the paramedics were counting people who fell down the stairs and broke their necks as COVID deaths so they could get reimbursed by the government for going out and fetching the bodies. The shithole countries are at a distinct disadvantage because they don’t have that many buildings with stairs. I’m not sure what the deal is with Europe.
It means that Europeans were for the last 6 months laughing at America and castigating our numbers. So now, Europe's numbers are worse than America's. I've been saying that we all need a little humility. Let's wait until this is all over before pointing fingers and scoring who did better. This disease has a mind of its own and we're like babes in the woods trying to figure it out. The economies of the world are collapsing. No matter how well a country thinks it's doing, there's nothing to be happy about. Your secure job and health today may be gone tomorrow.

You seem to think this is a football game - "our team" against "their team". It's not. Nobody is insulting "us" - they are horrified by Trump and his impact on ordinary people. That's it. No need to pretend that there is some conspiracy against you, much as it might serve your position.
Sorry. It's about politics. If Trump had shut down the economy, you would have complained that he should have kept it open because he's destroying it. Whatever he does, good or bad, you're against it.
I have a lot of international friends and family across several continents and none of them are laughing at or insulting the USA for this. The primary response I see is pity.

Well, why don't you all tell us how deaths are counted? And are you really sure the USA death count is accurate as there has been some shady things taking away the official infection numbers announcements from the CDC and having the White House track this. Just seems everything in the US gets politicized and as such very suspect to tampering.

That us versus them attitude came directly from Trump when he didn't want that cruise ship that had infected American citizens aboard to dock in Los Angeles because his Covid numbers would look bad. What an ass.
Could it be he was protecting the country from more infections? After all, democrat Gov Cuomo of NY sent sick patients home to their old age homes where they spread the disease. He should have kept them isolated or remain in hospitals until better. His stupidity accounted for half the deaths in New York. If Trump let infected people in, you'd be the first to complain he doesn't care about anyone. The fact is, anything Trump does is wrong according to Trump haters and you twist his statements and actions into something evil.
