Fixed it.
That's a real possibility, and then the damage would be so much greater. Let's hope it won't come to that.

Thanks for waking me up. Awaken or asleep, I really do not care that much about numbers. It could be 2.2 million as far as I am concerned. Why? Because it would still pale compared to 27 million unemployed I do care about. I do care about the living, not those who would be otherwise dead soon anyway. Natural event, nature cleansing itself, team biology.
Ouch.  :'(

Bernie aides erupt over development in Biden sexual assault claim as DNC stays mum

"Progressives didn't make this happen. Corporate Democrats chose Biden," Briahna Joy Gray, former Sanders press secretary, tweeted.  Gray also added: "It's a good time to note that Bernie's on the ballot

Both parties will continue to print and print and print as one industry after another goes down the tubes.  The huge debt we've accumulated in mortgages, car loans, college tuition, credit card, fracking, state pensions, SS, Medicare, etc will not be able to be paid when the economy sinks.  The only way to save the country, they think, will be to bail out everyone.  Of course, Republicans have shown they now are like Democrats, and Trump is just as much to blame for it.  But this has been going on for decades.  Trump, the master debt specialist, is just at the end of a long line of politicians and economists who want to spend their way out of problems.  It doesn't work for people; it doesn't work for countries.

I get the feeling he was searching for another word beginning with c but just made do with badass.

Add a fourth word "-lover" to your implied c-word and I would be ok with that too ;)

And yet, before this mess started, we were 21 trillion dollars in debt, and you were saying that, thanks to Trump, we had the greatest economy in the world. Which is it: greatest economy in the world or doesn't work for countries?

Nope. It doesn't fit the description. Nobody says that. C*nt, on the other hand, is widely used to describe someone you think is me.

I make my own wine. We should get together and throw a party. Which of your cheese varieties would go with red Cabernet Savignon?

If you check my earlier posts, I've been saying a long time before the virus that the trillion in debt this year is no good, that printing money is dangerous to our economy.  Trump did positive things for our economy lowering taxes and regulations.    He straightened out some of our trade issues and is working on others.  Unfortunately, he and the Congress didn't lower commensurate spending.  And the Fed keeps printing because we're off the gold standard.  The Fed's low interest rates for a decade have encouraged inordinate debt by everyone.  That's created bubbles in the stock market and real estate again and crypto currency as people chase yield because banks don't give any interest worth much.  So people move their money into risky investments.  I'm surprised tulips aren't of interest once again.  Low interest rates mean people hocking themselves to buy real estate, cars, tuition loans, etc.  Now with the virus, and trillions and trillions more of debt, I think it's going to blow up.  The bubble's going to pop.  Trump is just as guilty as congress.  They all pushed for and signed the legislation.  There's no longer an ounce of fiscal responsibility in Washington or anywhere else for that matter  States are broke. Will I be getting my state pension next year?    The problem is Biden won't be better.  They're all part of the swamp.  Including Trump.  He's jumped in too.

The Pope was doing a crossword and was stumped. He asked a passing cardinal "I need a 4-letter word meaning 'a type of woman.' The last 3 letters are u-n-t."

The cardinal replied "Aunt."

"Aha," said the Pope. "Can I borrow your eraser?"

There is not one measure prior to this pandemic, which is China's fault, that would agree with you here.  Every metric shown the USA was better off then before.

I put this through Google Translate, but it failed to clarify the meaning.  Could you elaborate?  "then before" what, for example?  Before COVID?

Meanwhile, regarding Lysol, Bleach and UV light administered internally as effective treatment for COVID:

"Those who voted for him because he says what he means
are now busy arguing that he didn't mean what he said."

The expression is ignore what he says and watch what he does.   He does a lot of brain dumps of his thoughts, which he shouldn't because some people are looking to hang him on them.
