So Joe, Slob and Alan, are you a bunch of cupcakes that sit on the net all day and complain about your rights, or do you actually have some balls and go out and join your Covidiots and protest. Here are a couple of your friends.

I would not hang out with them.  Well if the choice was between a snob like yourself or them, maybe.   ;)

It's pretty obvious if you look at the video of the same exact beach that photo is suppose to be from.

It is an older stock photograph, not an image captured this past Friday.

What is even more curious, is that not a single person in both photos is wearing a face mask. It is pretty unusual, as even some protestors all over the country are wearing them.

I would certainly prefer them.

Here you go.  In the post below a local pointed out that the pier in the image used in the news stories no longer exists (in the size shown) due to recent hurricanes.  Oops.

That remains unclear. U just checked google maps, and the peer is there. Possibly the maps is using an older satellite photo?

Another cupcake. Quack...quack...quack, but when it comes to action, no where to be seen.

So Joe, Slob and Alan ...

Just to be clear, I do not appreciate you shortening my name that way, if intentional. "Slob" in the English language has a distinctly negative connotation. Usual shortening would be Slobo.

Having said that, and having a thick skin, it is your prerogative whether you are going to continue calling me however you want. Sticks and stones, and stuff, you know.

The only "proof" Snopes has is this:

Apparently, that's what the database shows. For which we have to trust Snopes and Getty Images.

As I said, the onus is on you to demonstrate that the photos are fake — maybe dig into the exif to reveal some skullduggery, or do a reverse image search to show that they were published last summer.

The photographer, David Rosenblum, has posted them on his Facebook — maybe you can discover some treachery in the comments there?

I look at the small print on the maps, and it says "Map data 2020." Hurricanes were last year. So I am not sure whether what that "local" is saying is true.

We would need access to RAW files exif to verify the date. And the focal length. If taken with a 600mm or so lens, no wonder it looks packed.

However, if the photos are proven to be taken on that date, I will admit I was wrong and apologize.

Yes, perhaps.  The pier was apparently damaged with the last 300 feet being destroyed.  They did close it last fall to begin repairing it, and it is doubtful they got very far since then.  Also, the pier can only be fished off of during high tide due to the shortened length from damage.  So, presumably in low tide, it would not be above water.

Correction, it is looking like the deck collapsed in towards the end, but most of the pillars are still there.

I don't know if the photo is from another date or time or place. I don't know whether the video is from another date or time or place. But I don't find any of it very compelling since it comes from Facebook. I once saw a picture of Sasquatch flying a UFO on Facebook. I knew it  wasn't true because everyone knows that Sasquatch can't fly.

In addition to showing the pier, I'm surprised there isn't a polar bear floating around on a small ice flow.

Thanks Frank.  I expect you Canadians can detect fake Sasquatch stories fairly easily.   ;D

Harrisburg is a 3 hour drive from where I live.  That's too much effort at this point.  If there is a protest in Philly, I plan on going.

Age has nothing to do with it. You are very prolific poster on the net about your rights being taken away...yet you don't go out and do something about it...waiting for other Covidiots to do the dirty work for you. A cupcake.

I watched people in Seattle travel much further than that to protest. So your rights aren't worth a 3 hour drive?
