I prefer to use the best tools for the task at hand. That means that I use Capture One Pro for the initial Raw conversion process and activities that are associated with that, and for printing I use Qimage.
I may also use additional tools in postprocessing, depending on the required end result. Affinity Photo or Photoshop for image editing, and using plugins for e.g. noise reduction, tone mapping, etc. For significant upscaling Topaz Gigapixel AI is hard to beat. Panostitching (with PTGUI Pro) or Focusstacking (with Helicon Focus), create much better results than with the built inabilities of the Photo-editors.
IMHO, using specialist tools for specialist tasks may be slightly less convenient, but it can make quite a difference in the resulting image quality.
