Problem re-installing Photoshop CS6
« on: November 25, 2019, 10:52:43 am »

Windows 10 x64

I have to reinstall CS6.

I last installed it 18 months ago without a hitch.

When I input the serial number, it says that the serial number is valid and to choose a qualifying product from the drop-down menu.

The drop-down menu lists most old versions of Photoshop (including CS6 Extended) except CS6!  :-[

Any idea how I can workaround this?

Thanks.

It is a fact that CS6 will not install on OSX Catalina because the installer is 32 bit and not 64 bit- so it might depend on the system you use.

Apologies.

I should have said I'm Windows 10.

No problem with it 18 months ago.

Thanks.

Sorted with Adobe's excellent Support remotely accessing my computer.

It transpired that my CS6 was an upgrade from CS5 (which I no longer have) so the installer was looking for CS5 to complete.

They still had my CS5 product code on file. Very useful.
