Like classic rocks, Oldies but goldies
Thierry
Thank you very much Thierry, glad you enjoyed it!
It might be a 'classic' but it's still bloody good
Thank you very much indeed Bill!
Hi Vieri,
Since when have you been introducing sharpening outlines? Seems to happen on the Hassy shots you posted lately. Can't recall them from earlier Leica postings (or earlier Hassy postings, but I'm almost tempted to check). Something different in the defaults for these cameras? Or something changed in your output sharpening lately?
Since never. These are not sharpening outlines, but a halo created around high-contrast ares by the resizing + jpg creating process. It happens with any camera I own and owned, and I normally re-open all my jpgs to clean it out, but this time I had to redo the jog quickly to fix something and I didn't have the time to fix it back then. I fixed it now and uploaded a new version on my server, it should appear eventually here as well when the propagation + cloud will do their job.
As you said, it's classic for a reason. Well done.
Than you very much indeed Paulo, glad you enjoyed it!
Well worth getting wet for.
Indeed! And I was dressed for the occasion, so no problem for me - what is tricky is to keep the filters clean, but I have a personal system to do that and it surely came in handy here!
+1.
Thank you Eric!
Rich sky for this classic shot… As always, it's beautifully done!
Thank you very much indeed Francois, glad you enjoyed it!
Fantastic image. I was there in February, alas, so there was no opportunity to get behind the falls.
Is there some haloing around the overhanging rocks?
Jeremy
Thank you very much Jeremy, glad you enjoyed it!
I was there in March, and the road was open. The previous time I went there in December I also couldn't make it behind the fall, it kinda looked like this:
which is beautiful as well, but perhaps even more difficult to pull off because the spare instantly froze on the filter!
See above for the halo.
Oh my, what a nice shot!
Thank you very much indeed Mike, glad you enjoyed it!
Best regards,
Vieri
