Someone clearly suffers from a severe case of TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome).

¡Joder! How did that happen? I have set the language indicator to ESP but it has seldom overridden anything else - and I only do it so I can operate the keyboard.

As confusing as was Alabama!

C.R.E.E.P. THAT'S FUNNY.

And the subtle joke with the feline can be interpreted in multiple ways. Funny AND clever ...

Ernst Stavro Blofeld's cat, that's one possibility.
Democrats may think about someone grabbing a pussy ...

Which demonstrates that it's all a matter of perspective.

Somehow, this attachment seems appropriate for this thread ...

One despairs. The intellectual level of opposition to Trump indicated by that cartoon - and by the implication that it carries any analytical weight, or indeed humour - indicates why he will be re-elected.

Intellectual opposition is wasted on his electorate. He will be re-elected!

Give it a rest, it's a cartoon.

I, for one, do not get a Nixon reference. I have no idea who the character on the extreme right might be. Being a pirate of some kind, could it represent big business?

Do put me out of such unbearable suspense!

The acronym for Nixon re-election committee was C.R.E.E.P. The character at the right is Fearless Leader from the 1960's satirical animated Rocky and Bullwinkle Show, a tongue in cheek reference to the USSR.

Please enlighten us. Your hopes for a Watergate 2.0 have been hopelessly dashed, if that's the reference you had in mind.

Hi Bart, You were going to explain how you think the reprobates in your cartoon have benefited from Trump's policies and actions. Or was that just a throwaway line? So far, you haven't come through with any sort of explanation.

My "hopes" have nothing do with the cartoon - I was just asking whether our non-US friends knew that there's a cultural reference beyond just calling those particular characters "creeps" since they seemed to take the cartoon in question only on it's literal face.
