Is there any way to change the thread title? I'm sure G7 for Z7 is just a typo... There have been a few G7s over the years (no less than three Canon compacts, plus a Panasonic Micro 4/3 body), but the Nikon everybody's talking about is a Z7...
DPReview's review is not bad - they make a bigger deal of the banding than many people indicate it is (I haven't seen it yet, and, judging from Jim Kasson's tests, it takes quite a bit to trigger it). They also comment negatively on the AF, which matters much more for some types of photography than others - there are real reasons not to use the Z7 for sports or perhaps wildlife, events or fashion if you have something else in your bag, while it doesn't matter at all for landscape and many other disciplines.
Apart from those two complaints, they're highly positive on it...
