Mt. Diablo on the horizon across the San Joaquin Valley of California from near Hams Station in the Sierra Nevada.

IR shot with Rolleicird Vb on Maco IR 820c

Like this one a lot Ivo. People don't believe me when I tell them the surreal glow of IR film cannot be replicated by digital means. Close but no cigar.

Thanks John.
The effect of not having te anti halo layer on the maco 820 aura film is very special.

Cool IR images, guys!

Here's from a rare snow storm by my house on Tuesday. Maybe I'll get lucky with the next storm predicted for Sunday.

Too cold to snow here this morning at -19 F but it keeps the existing snow nice and fresh.

I think it will need a little longer. It's now warmed up to 5 but it won't get much warmer today. It doesn't usually snow until at least 15 or so.

Looks like you're right, appears it is staying Northwest of you. That sky seems to suggest otherwise though.

I had my hopes up for fresh snow tomorrow but it's not looking very likely. At least it should be warmer.
I'd love some more of this:

A smaller landscape whose lines appear somewhat like snow.
