I can easily see why! Nice patterns, by the way…
Thanks Francois. It's the shadows and angle of light that really makes the rivets and patterns come to life.

Yes, the light makes them look "alive" and very spiky!

Futuristic or dysfunctional? Maybe neither. Just playing with shapes and line and tones.

You've been busy, John. I particularly like this one. It makes me look at it at length, trying to orient my perspective.

Thanks Eric and Arlen for your comments. It's done with aid of photo elements. Turned out really well.

Thanks Francois. Yea, I fear they will become spinsters. I tried to marry them off but they cling to each other like electrons to a nucleus. If I could just get those guys on Mount Rushmore to come over, maybe they will hit it off.

Yes, you could try some magic tricks with the guys from Mt Rushmore but I wouldn't expect too much  ;D

You could try pushing them, but it might not make them rush more.

I've decided to leave the four sisters alone...you know, like- leaves of three leave them be!

Herewith is more playful stuff.

Sort of like a throne in the sky.

Then a curve ball to knock anyone off the thrown.

The curve ball is really gorgeous with these lines, textures/patterns and colors. I also like the symmetry of the first shot as well as the strong colors.

Not sure why, but the Mondrian squares puzzle is what comes to my mind. Your version is less abstract with the added elements and shadows…
