Aug 4, Humber trail. Getting darker and the trail is darkish to begin with. Have to shoot at ISO 800 and up. Thinking about lugging a tripod.

True.
Take the bicycles, for example. You clearly panned in the direction they were moving (i.e., the conventional way,) when the effect would be more interesting if you panned in the opposite direction.   :)

Thanks Armand and Eric. Ok back by popular demand, a blue moody night from last night's walk in High Park.

Today, Aug 9-2019, I walked a new trail, through Erindale park and Port Credit trail. In honor of the wild grapes and the graceful tendrils I found, I am having a glass of wine. Salut.

I like them both.
But I have to comment that I think you may have accidentally turned off the "auto-blur" feature on your camera.   :D

My series was always meant to show variety with emphasis on what I like best. Lots of bokeh, that's blurry- no?  ;) Would you believe I was on low battery power? Or that I just wanted to let the grapes bask in the sun for a while? Thanks Eric.

I guess I should have said you turned off the "auto-foreground-blur."
The "auto-background-blur" is working perfectly.   ;D

You can take a man out of the creative zone, but you can't take the creativity out of the man. See here Eric, from last night.

So, we had a bit of wind here today, and I see these plants in the backyard whisking about with the sun streaming through the leaves and thought: yeah, that screams JMR ICM. And sure enough...
