Very cool. You surly have waited for the waves, but you're also pretty lucky the the foam's shape is somewhat similar to the rock-"fingers" in the background. Good work.
Thank you very much, glad you enjoyed it

About the foreground patch, that is not foam, it's wet sand - I noticed that after waves retreating the sand was staying wet long enough to take a photo of it, and I waited patiently for quite some time until I found a spot where the wet sand got a shape I liked, a shape that mirrored somehow the shape of the sea stacks in the background... no luck involved, not this time at least: just observation, pre-visualisation, (very) patient wait, and speed in setting up my shot before the wet patch dried up

Fantastic foreground and background.
Thank you very much indeed Paulo, glad you enjoyed it!

Superb. I like the cold toning, it plays very well with the black sands and the leaden sky.
Edit: typo correction.
Thank you very much indeed Francois, glad you enjoyed the color palette!

Ditto to all the other comments.
Another winner!

Lovely tonal range on this one. Captures the feeling of that location very well. Thanks for sharing!
