this is an unexpectedly interesting thread with all those fancy rocks. I like the second one from the original post.

Rock Egg. Some shore birds like sandpipers lay mottled eggs -- an adaptation that helps camouflage them, I suppose. This egg-shaped rock stood out from the background, however. I don't know how it got there, but I've seen some amazing things thrown up by the sea. I'd hate to think that the "hand of man" was involved, but I suppose it's possible.

I agree and the slight curve in the right boulder makes me think that it's a living creature like a squid…

Two views of the Bay of Fundy at low tide. The first is from Burntcoat Head in Nova Scotia. The second is from the opposite side of the bay at Hopewell Rocks, New Brunswick.

These are nice, the second shows haloing though... The first one would work well with that slightly over-the-top dreamlike look.

Hmmm. Must go back at that. Spent all my time getting rid of the couples with selfie sticks. Thought I'd leave the one guy for scale.

That first one just looks like it's got a whole magical shipwreckstory attached to it.

Falls of Bruar, Perthshire, Scotland. Close up is from the bridge looking straight down. Ken
I really like the "close up" shot!
