Fujifilm GFX just announced with 6 lenses (all available in 2017)

Available early 2017 :

63mm f/2.8 standard lens
32-64mm f/4.0 zoom
120mm f/4.0 macro

later in the year :

45mm f/2.8
23mm f/4.0
110mm f/2.0

Pricing "way under 10,000 $" for camera and standard lens

Don't really believe it as my guess is on the same sensor the rest is using as well.

Hope to see early reviews by December.  Built on a great design alread X-t2 X-t1.
Very interested to see more on lenses as if built on par with current X glass this will be a great camera.
Thank fully not X-trans.  Also hope Fuji will send Adobe a unit soon as Phase One will continue their boycott of other non Phase MF I am sure.

You may want to edit the O/P and add the 26.4mm mounting distance to the specs... That means more than 35mm mounting space available from the nearest 6x45 mirror box MF DSLR (The Hasselblad H) and almost 50mm from the nearest 6x6...

Therefore the following should be expected to happen soon...

1. Tons of adapters coming that will allow mirrorbox DSLR camera lenses to be used on the camera...
2. Some tilt/shift adapters for the above mentioned lenses too...
3. Fuji FGX mount for Campo Actus, Arca Universallis and every other bellows camera that is offered in "DSLR" version...
4. Adapters for Canon & Nikon TS & PCE lenses as well as for Samyang (rokinon/wallimex) TSE lenses...

This camera may mean the "death" of Pentax 645 Z....

Hi Erik,

Never have figured out why folks discount Fujirumors so much, as their hit rate is close to 95%, they are really just a pre-announce site.

But this will be a very interesting camera for sure, and if mount adapters can be made, it could get very interesting very fast.

Looking forward to full specs, and early shooters, but the results are pretty much already known, as the 50Mp sensor is very well documented as a excellent sensor.

For those who (like me) see one of the benefits in using this with view cameras like Arca Universalis or Cambo Actus:
1. In the press conference they said that this is a costumized sensor (I think with special microlenses). Minimum back focus shall be very close. If this is true you could hope for better angular response when using view camera lenses.
2.  The flange focal distance is 26,7mm. That is 8,7mm more the Sony E-mount. Does anybody with first hand experience know which lenses would fit on an Actus oder Universalis? Digaron-W 32mm is already at the limits with E-Mount.

My guess is you don't say "well under $10,000" if your going to sell it at $5,000 so the dream a lot of people had of an ultra cheap Fuji MF camera seems to be dead although it always seemed like wishful thinking to me.

Actually the camera may be more "friendly" than the Sony α7 with WA lenses... It will all depend on the mount's diameter... if it is significantly wider than Sony, it may permit the rear cell of the lens to be recessed in the camera's mount and work just fine...


Of course shifts will be limited as the rear cell may hit the mount at some shift value and some makers may not recommend the lenses that recess into the mount, but I wouldn't hesitate to use the lens if that is the case.... One should then use a camera that has full horizontal and vertical shifts and swings/tilts on the front standard and only use shifts on the rear standard as to stitch within the limits that the tolerances allow...

The mount diameter was something like 60+ mm if I remember correctly. A few mm wider than the sensor diagonal (55mm). There is a photo of the mount with sensor in the press material.
