Source for Discontinued Gitzo parts
« on: May 19, 2015, 07:33:35 pm »

I recently contacted Gitzo about buying a replacement tripod leg section for my D1325 was told it was no longer made. Did an internet search and came across this firm which delivered the part without problems (customs) & in a very timely manner. http://www.gitzo.co.uk/service/service+%26+repair/.  They take paypal, or any debit/credit cards.

Used them for Manfrotto/Gitzo service and spares for years and a great company to deal with.

My first dealings was with a Manfrotto 405 geared head that a control seized. I contacted them and they offered to sell me the part and gave instructions on how to do the fix rather than insisting I send the head to them for replacement (which i actually did). The head was returned all fixed but additionally with all other parts checked and lubricated.

A part I needed recently for a Gitzo lateral was unknown to them and not on the parts drawings so they contacted Italy, found the part and ordered it in (without even asking for payment).

Great service and can highly recommend!
