How many people used that excuse to go nuts  when they attacked the Congress a few weeks ago?

The idea that "Big Tech" is censoring "conservative speech" is utterly absurd to anyone that has actually looked at a sampling of conservatives posting on Twitter and Facebook. However, there is speech that is equivalent to yelling fire in a crowded theater that platforms have censored. For an example of why they are doing so, one only need to look at what happened on January 6th.

When you tell people that their democracy is under assault due to a stolen election; that they're not going to have a country anymore unless that election is overturned and the counting stopped; and you do it for months ending at an event called the Save America rally on the day that election is being formally finalized—is it a surprise that some are going to engage in violence and insurrection to save America and democracy? Is it a surprise that a company doesn't want its reputation ruined by distributing that kind of rhetoric of dangerous lies and conspiracy beliefs?

In any case, I looked at the article you posted.  Here's the first paragraph.  They sound like a bunch of crazies, nothing that I would join nor would any other republican or half sane person.  It's really unfortunate that you would accuse me of agreeing with these idiots.  What's wrong with you?

Here we go again. Please provide a link to the post in which I accused you of agreeing with what you call “these idiots”.

No, Alan, those ARE Muellers conclusions, as well as those of the Republican led Senate committee. Trumps campaign DID communicate with Russians.  They WERE aware Russia was working in a pro-Trump manner. Barr DID say those things were not actionable.
What do you mean communicate?  Of course Trump campaign communicated with the Russians. His national security advisor contacted them.  In fact, he met personally with Putin afterwards, probably thanking him for doing such a great job helping him win the presidency. :)  I think they even shook hands. After all, he's the president of the US.  Trump also met with the North Korean president, and China's.  So what?

Meanwhile, you approve of the Obama administration's use of the FBI to illegally go after a political enemy.

You might want to either re-examine the Inspector General's report on that subject or provide the Justice Department (and us) with the evidence you have which he lacked. His conclusion was quite different from yours.

This is why you can’t be taken seriously.

You're a fool if you really think the left cares about country and constitution.

Liberals do, but lefties do not.  People like AOC and the squad would do away with it if they could.  They openly state this, and I tend to take people at their word.

But like I said, your side, the liberals, have a piss poor track record here.  4 years ago when the argument was made that eventually lefties would be going after Washington and Lincoln, all you liberals disagreed.  You were wrong.

You made a Faustian bargain with the wrong people.  Will you wake up before you or a loved one gets cancelled?  I have my doubts.

I'm not familiar with the Mike Pense defense.  Is that something like the Sicilian defense in chess?

QAnon[a] (/ˌkjuːəˈnɒn/), or simply Q, is a disproven and discredited far-right conspiracy theory alleging that a secret cabal of Satan-worshipping,[1] cannibalistic pedophiles is running a global child sex-trafficking ring and plotted against former U.S. president Donald Trump while he was in office.[2][3][4][5] According to U.S. prosecutors, QAnon is commonly called a cult.[6]

Way too many republicans believe it, unfortunately.   https://www.jpost.com/american-politics/nearly-30-percent-of-republicans-believe-central-tenet-of-qanon-conspiracy-poll-658992

You know, my brother, an avoid socialist often makes this same case.  He recently said, Schumer should just nix the filibuster, McConnell would do it if h had the chance.

Well McConnell did have the chance in 2017, and he did not, and it was the reason more republican policies did not get through.  So this is all talk on your side with no basis in fact.

Schumer's going to push for two more states - Puerto Rico and Washington DC so they can get four more Democratic Senators.  Then they'll pack the court with 6 more liberal jurists. It's all about power.  No one gives a damn about the public, the constitution, or tradition.

No they do not!

What is happening is most republicans do no trust pollsters.  They get a biased call that is obviously geared against the President and decided to say screw it, I'm going to reaffirm my support by just playing along.  That is it.

So, I am against all of it, will fight tooth and nail against, and will openly question any Americans' patriotism who is for it, which I might add I consider to be non-existent if you are.

Oh No! I'm a victim of cancel culture now too! Help me!

I have no problem with Puerto Rico becoming a state, if they so choose.  Unfortunately, they have voted 5 times in the past, but either the vote failed or not enough people turned out to vote.  So, I have my doubts on this, but if they vote for status, I have no issue.

DC should never be a state, full stop.

You're lumping me and 74 million people into this group QAnon which I never even heard of until recently.  I still don't know who they are.

You said: I think that was Mike Pence’s defense too. This article in Wikipedia, the font of all knowledge, will give you a brief introduction.

There are a few things that make Americans Americans, with freedom of speech being one of them.  You're not American if you are against it.  Pretty cut and dry 1st amendment.

There was evidence the FBI cooked the books using the dossier.  one FBI guy get lucky and was only reprimanded or lost his job for three months.  A slap on the wrists for causing two years of phoney investigation and creating political mayhem in the country. They got away with it.  Now that Biden is president, all investigations will end. The creatures of the DC swamp know how the game is played.

On this we agree. It's time for the U.S. to bring being a colonial power to an end.

I think they were confusing polls.  The 29% are the number of Democrats who still believe Trump colluded with the Russians.
