Problem with image upload

I am trying to post a message that includes a 2 MB photo. I have tried this several times over half a day. I am told the attachment is too big, but the forum software says the max size is 4 MB. Seems like something is wrong.

There are a couple of places where admin sets max image sizes. There is also a maximum number & size of attachments per post

There is also a restriction on dimension of 800 pixels on any side.

Try reducing the size or post a link to a personal server where you can host the big file(s).

It is simply a bandwidth/$$ issue...
