Tangerine Daze in Death Valley National Park
« on: April 27, 2015, 05:31:11 pm »

In God's Country, mirroring the tangerine daze. Three roads to eternity, bordering the Sun's rays.

I took this image January 2014 in Death Valley but I haven't taken the time to process it. It's still not perfect. I still need to fine tune it a bit, but it's getting there.

Thanks for viewing.

Nicely done.  Hard to get a non-stereotypical take on that place, but you've done it.

robust composition and very good transitions and colours for this wonderful scenario.
Well done IMHO.

I've been to all the usual places to shoot in DV. While I still love these iconic spots and continue to shoot them, I try to discover other spots to shoot around the park. I don't think I'll run out of places too shoot there. Death Valley National Park is huge and ever evolving.

Thank you, Sandro. DV is about 5 hours away from where I live and I keep watch of the weather and head out there when the weather is favorable for unique photography (meaning bad weather. lol). It's hit or miss at DV even when you're monitoring the weather. I guess I got lucky this time. :)
