Spring On Fire - First post.
« on: April 21, 2015, 11:13:57 am »

Hi everyone, my name is David, I'm new to the forum, and pretty new to photography in general (less than 2 years) especially compared to some of the veterans here. I'm shooting with an LX100 and Rebel t3i - mostly the LX because to be honest it's the best camera I've laid hands on so far.

Looking forward to another great year, spring is here!

Welcome David.

For me, the photo is well framed, but the focused part is too dark.

And you have an unfocused part (lower right) that is too bright and attract the attention.

If you have Lightroom, you can easily cure that with the radial tool.

Have a Nice Day.

Thanks for the advice! I agree, it's definitely a little underexposed. I'll keep that in mind for future shots (I generally don't go back and redo shots, I try to chalk it up as a learning experience.)

+1, although without a doubt you nailed the focus. Wow, that's sharp.

Thanks for the welcome! I tried touching it up a little to bring out that brightness, but it won't let me post.
The LX100 gets the credit for the sharpness. It's image quality is amazing and so is the auto focus.
