Water Sculpture
« on: March 18, 2015, 11:47:08 pm »

Blow the tops off some volcanoes, smash the residue with salt water for a few millennia, add a bit of weathered driftwood and this is what you get. And the smashing can be really violent here in winter, on Oregon's central coast near Yachats. It's a special place. On this visit the surf was more moderate, and the tide was out.

As always, thoughts and suggestions are welcome.

Very nice, Arlen. The ocean is deceptively tame given the weathering and sculpting that has taken place. I like how the layers of rock and water and cloud combine to tell a story.
