No chromatic aberration correction applied when "Edit in Photoshop"

Hi everyone.

I have a problem I have not noticed before... when I do a chromatic aberration correction in Lightroom (v4 & v5), then do "Edit in Photoshop" it opens in PS but the chromatic aberration is still there. It seems to be applying other corrections okay, just not the CA correction. If I export the image as a tiff then open it in PS the chromatic aberration correction looks good. I have been away from working in LR for a year or so and don't have the memory I used to have so I keep thinking I am just doing it wrong. Can anyone help? (Image attached)

Do versions of ACR match LR and Photoshop ?

I'm not sure what the matched versions are. This is what I have:
LR 5.7.1
PS 12.1
ACR 6.3.0.79

I had not been aware of any such problem, so tested it.

I located a Raw file that showed a fairly severe dose of chroatic aberration from a fisheye lens.

I removed the aberration in Lightroom successfully.

I then right-clicked on the image in the Develop Module and selected Edit in CS6. Selected "edit copy with Lightroom adjustments".

When the image opened in CS6, the chromatic aberration had not re-appeared. So, basically, I cannot replicate the problem you report.

The most current version of ACR - a direct match for Lr 5.7.1 - is ACR 8.7.1.

Hi,
Do you select "Render using Lightroom"? as opposed to "Open anyway"? If you use "Open anyway" that could explain your issue.

There is a mismatch in raw versions.  Photoshop 12.1 = CS5 and the last version of ACR would be 6.7 and LR 5.7.1. as pointed out 8.7.1. 

Due to the fact that raw engines are different you cannot do a straight Edit in PS from LR and will have gone through a dialogue box (assuming you have not checked do not show again) giving you choices Render using LR or Open anyway.

If you pick render using LR you should get a TIFF or PSD (depends on your preferences) which would be the same as you saving TIFF and opening in LR.  If you have selected Open anyway LR will pass the raw data with potentially strange results due to raw mismatch

And if you don't get that message so can't make that choice, in Lightroom go to Edit menu, preferences, General tab, and click "Reset all warning dialogs".

Thanks everyone. That explains a lot of things. My little brain completely missed the fact that when I chose to Edit in Photoshop it, by default,  uses ACR to render it.  And I thought I knew what I was doing with this stuff...
