There seems to be a Post.

One of the best pieces of advice I got from Freeman Patterson's books was to carefully inspect the borders before pressing the shutter. A tripod helps.
Otherwise, I like it. Did you try a reflection too?

Not sure if it was avoidable, but the post detracts from the rest of the (wonderful) image.

I hate posts, powerlines, and graffitis!

But there are here and there, and you have to cope with them.

Appreciate all the careful feedback. Glad to get viewpoints other then my own.
I couldn't decide whether to leave the pole in or go ahead and PS it away. To me, it's a choice between what's actually out there in the Louisiana wetlands, thereby making the foto a record, or taking the risk of romanticizing nature by editing out what's undesirable.
It seems the more I look at this, the less I want to edit out the pole. Maybe in this case familiarity doesn't lead to contempt ?

… romanticizing nature by editing out what's undesirable.

For me, it's not that: it's that the post is out-of-focus, doesn't do any work that isn't already done by the tree trunk, and the part of the photo that actually appeals to me is the top-half from the tree trunk right-ward.

Isaac,
I see now what you mean. And didn't before !
Appreciate your pointing it out.
Am curious as to why the stick's not in focus because it's so close to the Spanish Moss which is.

The Spanish Moss is close horizontally-in-2d but further away from-the-camera-in-3d than the stick.

There doesn't need to be a large difference in distance from the camera for there to be a quite noticeable difference in near-focus.
