hyperfocal focusing
« on: January 05, 2006, 02:53:11 pm »

I hear a lot of people talking about hyperfocal focusing, and i do understand it but I want to know if it really is that useful and is simply a product of f-stop, focallength and sensor size then why dont cameras have an autofocus mode that does it for you?

[edit] oops, put this in the wrong part of the forum, can someone move it?

I think that this has been covered here before, and if I recall, there was a common desire to have such a focus mode.  I'm all for it.
