Front filter holder for Sigma 12-24?
« on: December 30, 2005, 05:03:41 am »

Anyone using a Lee type filter holder for the Sigma 12-24 lens? I have a need to use both polarising and graduated neutral density filters, and am wondering what success people have had with push-on filter holders.

Thanks,
Peter

No help here.  Just a question.  Do you really want to use a polarizing filter on a lens that wide?

Yeah, the effect can be interesting. The polarizer is the secondary concern - it's the graduated neutral densities that I really need to use.

Well, no answer yet, I'm interested in this too. The filterholder might fit, but does it work without vignetting at the wide end of the 12-24? I would guess no..
