Anhinga Blues
« on: December 21, 2014, 10:04:47 am »

A fresh-water bird who must dry his wings periodically to avoid literally drowning from the weight of the water on his wings. This is a male Anhinga, black body and head whereas the female is predominately brown.

Thanks, Eric. Long Lens...and when they are in drying mode, they are less likely to flinch.
