Navajo Sunrise at Bisti
« on: December 18, 2014, 03:34:14 pm »

From my trip to New Mexico in late summer. I slept under the stars without a tent and was greeted by this beautiful scene at sunrise.

Superb, but are you sure you're not posting something from the Mars Rover?

I'm jealous, Roman. I've been to Bisti three times now, and I've never gotten a morning so glorious. Very nice shot.

Hahaha. It was my remote GoPro on the rover that got this, Bill! ;)  Thanks.

Thank you, John.

I'm pretty active and mobile during the monsoon season…almost guaranteeing awesome sunrises and sunsets. :)

Magical and well worth sleeping under the stars. No need to go to Mars!

It sure is, Francois. But the coyotes howling all night woke me up from my slumber more than a few times. :)

Thanks for the compliment. Some of the formations found here are even weirder. I found some that look like wings and chicken heads. I'd love to go back there and explore and photograph the area for an entire week :)
