Nikon D810 sRAW files

Just found out, through bitter experience, that C1 8 (8.0.2.33) doesnt yet support the small RAW NEF files produced by the D810. Lightroom does (this is not a C1 bashing thread, just factually correct)

Just found out, through bitter experience, that C1 8 (8.0.2.33) doesnt yet support the small RAW NEF files produced by the D810.

Try converting to DNG first with Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter, then using C1.

Capture One doesn't really like DNG's - you lose all the automatic adjustments like noise and sharpening

It couldn't hurt to make copies of the NEF and then convert the copies to DNG.
Just to try it for yourself.
If you go this route, let me know how it worked out. I'm curious.
