Warm baryta papers - Harman/Hahnemuhle - GLOSS BARYTA WARMTONE

I print BW and currently print on Epson Exhibition Fiber paper.  I love the tonality I get from it but I don't love the blueish cast it has.  I just ordered a sample pack from Harman/Hahnemuhle and am anxious to test the GLOSS BARYTA WARMTONE.

Have any of you tried this paper?  Thoughts?

I haven't tried that but suggest that if you like that type of paper you might want to try Museo Silver Rag.  No OBAs and it has a very good black point (best I've measured with my Epson 3880) and has good tonal gradation.

I am reading about OBAs lately and am not liking what I am reading.  Course the stuff I have been reading is pretty old (2007).  I may try some non OBA paper and see if I like them.  Thanks!

I use the Warmtone but only for portraits. I find it a bit odd in that the warm tone seems to be achieved by adding a dye to the inkjet coating, and I suspect there's still some OBA present. It can work really well for portraits but I don't like it at all for B&W. I print a lot of B&W and my favourite paper for this is the H by HM Gloss Baryta. Yes, it has OBA but it does quite well in the Aardenburg testing - much better than the EEF.

I find the Epson Exhibition a bit too blue myself.
You could try the Canson Baryta Photographique, very similar texture to the Epson, and a bit warmer color.
Prints really niece on my 9600.

There is OBA in that paper.

I often wondered what caused the extra bump in the spectral plot of that paper. So it could be a dye added to warm the paper? If Harman did that why couldn't they use a pigment instead?  The interesting thing is that I see the same bump in the Harman silverhalide photo papers that have Warmtone in their names and in the Harman rag base silverhalide. In all cases inkjet and silverhalide at the coating side. My guess is that in the silverhalide papers it may be a property of the light sensitive layer and in the inkjet paper Harman recreated that color with a colorant.

I bought some Museo Silver Rag to try today.   Since I am printing BW I don't need to use a profile from Museo I don't think. I just need to set the paper type to Premium Luster according to their PDF doc found here:

Well, I made two 11x14 prints of two images I printed previously on Exhibition Fiber.  The paper is definitely warmer which I like!  Another thing I notice is that blacks are deeper than on the Exhibition Fiber.  I didn't do anything with the files and I think the prints can be printed a weee bit lighter.  It seems like the Museo Silver Rag likes black! 

Is that any of your experience with this paper compared to Exhibition Fiber?
